When : Rescheduled for Saturday August 21. 10am-2pm
Where : Spoil Island IR 42 due west of Round Island Ramp. Look for the large shade tarps.
What to bring : Camp chair, your drink, Bug spray, Something to pass that goes in the deepfryer, steamer, or on the grill. Ideas...Fish, clams, scallops, peeled shrimp, Salad or dish to pass on ice.
Transportation : Ferry boats will be leaving Round Island Ramp regularly from 9am designated by a dive flag. If you have room on your boat please display a flag at the ramp.
Details : At Bobs request we plan to scatter his ashes on the outgoing tide at 1pm. He also requested no service... but for all his friends and family to have a good time in his honor. Eat drink and be merry! Dress casually and plan to swim, fish, toss horseshoes and relax. We"ll have large shade/rain tarps up and multiple cookers and fryers. We'll start cooking around 11am and continue till about 1pm.
Facilities on the island are primitive so plan accordingly. We'll fog the island early but a can of bug spray is a good idea. There will be a private porta potty for the ladies.
